about us

Striving to make Ascot Village an attractive and safe place to live, play and grow as a community

Home Security Notices Who's Who

ASCOT VILLAGE ASSOCIATION IS A NON-PROFIT ORGANISATION WHOSE OFFICIAL GOAL IS TO IMPROVE OUR NEIGHBOURHOOD.

The establishment of the Ascot Village Civic Association [AVCA] arose around the security concerns for our residents and was officially registered on 31 October 2011. The main objectives of AVCA are to promote the welfare of the community and support environmentally sound development. This includes protecting rights of property owners, and taking an active interest in issues of concern which affect our residents and ratepayers. We also have fundraising events to upgrade facilities for our community. Our 1st Annual General Meeting was held on 16 November 2011. Currently most of the work is done by the elected Executive Committee of volunteers.

All residents and ratepayers in Ascot Village are encouraged to join the AVCA.

The success and effectiveness of the Ascot Village Civic Association is dependent on residents who are willing to volunteer their time and expertise.
